across-the-wire migration

   A method of migrating file-server data, trustee rights, and other information to a Novell NetWare server using the NetWare Migration utility. You can also use across-the-wire migration to upgrade from LAN Manager, LAN Server, and earlier versions of NetWare; a similar process known as BMIGRATE allows users to migrate from Banyan VINES.
